I had a 30 minute makeover done and I was very happy to get to work with Jennifer. She was kind and very patient (even when I accidentally pulled my nose piercing out and had to find it). She explained every step she was doing and taught me some tricks to get my makeup the way I like it. She also gave me ways to prepare my skin before applying my makeup.
The whole experience was amazing. I am definitely a MAC girl now thanks to the ladies at this MAC store.

Went in to get a foundation with my mom and daughter, both the manager and asst manager were busy having a conversation with another guest, no big deal, I knew what I wanted. Asst manager comes over and begins to help me, I ask for the foundation I want and mention I could use a lipstick as well. I want a matte finish that will not transfer. She continues her conversation with the other guest while she helps me minimally. Gives me one lipstick to try. I ask for a different color, which she provided but did not offer any way for me to remove the other color as she’s still conversing with other guest and manager. My mom is there and has also mentioned multiple times that she liked my foundation and wanted a lipstick too. She was never acknowledged. I asked again about whether the lipstick would dry, it was a liquid lipstick, and asst manager said it’s a long lasting lip color. I took her word and purchased both foundation and lip color. Applied both in my car. My lip color was not the one I asked for. I was still willing to try it, but it never dried. It was wet and transferred even after waiting over 30 minutes. I called the store upset and of course all they can do is offer me a return and refund. Which would be fine but we were traveling the next day and i wouldn’t be able to back for several weeks. She says no problem. Come back when I can. I did go back after my 30 days apparently, fine, what can they do for me because the lip was not what I asked for. The manager was adamant that she could do nothing. After back and forth several times she finally admits that she can offer store credit. Awesome, I will use it later for my foundation. I asked if I could use it online. She said yes. Guess what, I now need another foundation and the card for store credit explicitly says I can not use it online.

The staff was amazing! Ashley (the manager) helped me and she was so friendly. She made sure I was matched with the right foundation. She sat me down and ended up doing my whole face even though at times they got busy she made sure all the customers were taken care of! I will definitely be back to shop only at La Cantera.

When we walked into the MAC store we were not greeted nor asked how can we be helped. A family walked in a few minutes behind us and they were asked how they can be helped. It is an ugly feeling to not be acknowledged every customer regardless of race or ethnicity should be treated as others do. Therefore we went to Dillard's and when we walked up to the perfume and makeup Dior counter, we were asked how can we be helped, and the customer service of that woman at Dillard's was above and beyond more than what we could ask for. We proceeded to buy a lipstick from the Dior brand. We did not buy from the rude woman at MAC who decided not to approach us based on our appearance. What she did not know is that we were able to buy a product. MAC employees need training and need to give the same attitude and customer service to every single person that walks in their doors. At the end of the day NO ONE SHOULD BE CATEGORIZED BY APPEARANCE Great job Dillard's!!

I had some make up delivered by post mates & it was partially wrong. Jennifer D at store 12581 came herself immediately the next morning to bring me my correct order plus some tiny goodies ☺️ I don’t have a car at this very moment so Jennifer bringing my order was a life saver!!! Thank you so much Jennifer!! Truly appreciate it!

I never do reviews, but I had to with this one. I went to the Mac counter, to get some tips on winged eyeliner from professional pros. Marisa helped me right away even though she was working on a busy store. She went above and beyond, went out of her way to see if I had any other questions or looks I wanted to know more tricks about. I really appreciated the fact that she didn't want to lose on a client because of busy they are, and now I can see why they are busy. Excellent customer service. Definitely going back with her!!
