We absolutely adore Javi's, and we are regulars. This is one of the gems in this area for sure. You can't go wrong with the authentic tacos - best around. I recommend the steak, pastor, and chorizo. The service is excellent, and we enjoy sitting on the patio. They sometimes have live music as well!

This Taco salad had to be the worst I've ever had. I got it to go. Not only was it not in any container just wrapped in aluminum foil it had grease pouring out . The only thing I could eat was the top of the taco bowl lettuce cheese sour cream. The meat was cooked with so much seasoning it was bitter on your tongue.

This place was nice! Service was great. On the smaller side but it's a small town. Food was so good I finished the whole plate in under 10 mins 😋. My bf took me and we both had the 2 tacos (shredded chicken) w rice and beans 🫘 🔥. Would have gave 5 star but they didn't have tequila or margs which was a little disappointing ugh 😐

On the corner of 46 and abiff tucked nicely in the study looking log house setting is a fine dinning experience of a restaurant. Nestled in the Bon Aqua side of Dickson country is this little treasure.

Coming in to this establishment, I was greeted with hellos and a three-piece mariachi band. I enjoyed the atmosphere almost homely feeling too it, like I’ve been there in another life. But anyways order my drink and was greeted with chips and some salsa. Enjoyed the salsa very good, has a good taste on the pallet. But anyways order food, the portions where good size and it has to be,look around the south us “big body “folks not having the recommended portions by gosh. Anyways where was I going, oh yes very good and delicious almost makes the other Mexican restaurants look bad. But trust me get here, get your big boy portions and enjoy you won’t be disappointed in this hidden gem.
If any more proof is necessary watch the video review of the woman eating, she about bite her finger off it was so good. As they say”the proof is in the Pudding”

I am picky when it comes to good Mexican food. I am sooo excited to report that the food was great!!! The guacamole was delicious. The steak tacos were seasoned perfectly. My husband got the Dickson special and was very happy with it. The salsa had just the right amount of heat. Please try them out so we can keep great Mexican food on our side of town.

I ordered the steak fajita nachos with mushrooms. They were amazing! Service was great too! We even had FREE entertainment! It did get a little dicey though. The older gentleman was being yelled at by a woman in Spanish and then they took the argument outside. They argued some more when the older gentleman came back inside, the woman through a piece of paper at him and he locked the front door on her so she couldn't come back inside. He eventually unlocked the door after she called a young gentleman there and they all came inside speaking in Spanish, loudly. They calmed down some before we left the restaurant. Whoever the younger gentleman was, he seemed to hold them accountable. All in all, for food, I would go back again. 😊

To start the El Pastor taco, top three I have ever had. Coming from CA and having had them from almost coast to coast, these are some of the best I have ever had. The hot salsa was on point as well. There was not a dingle thing bad I could say about this place.
