They have destroyed the building. Stole all the umbrellas from the tables. To lazy to the job right. Knowingly breaking the law. Their employees who come here a work think they own the place. This is they worst. management company ever. Can only hope their gone soon

High Point Real Estate is incredibly unprofessional and deceptive. I was supposed to rent a place in Los Angeles between Silverlake and Virgil Village, but they never communicated anything. It was extremely difficult to get a hold of them. I had to constantly chase them to execute a lease, which they barely did. They couldn't even tell me when I would get my keys or provide other necessary information. This made me very nervous about signing the lease or living in the approved property. If you are dealing with them for the first time or if they have taken over the management of your property and you're having issues, know that your concerns are valid. This management company scams people.

Living in one of their apartment buildings and they barely make an effort to fix overall building repairs and needs. Hot water is consistently out. It was out for three days once before. Pipes in the walls have been loudly rattling for four days, I haven’t been able to sleep properly. Will be reporting this to the city and finding tenant union reps to assist me as I build up my case against them. I personally wouldn’t move into any High Point Real Estate properties.

My first ever bad review! We are VERY disappointed at the disrespectful behavior of the management company - during an emergency situation. They blocked the staircase while the only elevator in the building broke. There was NO way to get out of the building, besides walking through a dirty construction site (pretty dangerous and dirty). We've been calling the management company all day with no luck. In addition to very often broken elevator, the lobby in our "luxury building" is always dirty. Shame on you!!

Beware applying to their properties. Awful experience with this company. Dylan Mantay would not honor my apartment tour on behalf of my out of state partner even though we were given prior consent. Seems to be no organization on their part. Proceeded to get an attitude when I expressed we spoke with a rep on the phone. I asked how is it possible for anyone out of state to rent with them and he told me "They will just have to fly out to view the apartment themselves. That's how I did it when I moved here". Unprofessional and rude.

This company does not care for its tenants. We've had multiple break ins into numerous units, vandalism. But won't install a gate from keeping strangers out. This company cares only for their revenue from their poorly managed properties. Don't rent from them.

I have never come across a more irresponsible company than Highpoint. I had a situation in which the other tenants in my house sent me harassing messages and forced me to move out that very day. Although I was going through horrific abuse by those housemates, Highpoint refused to answer any questions I had or help me end my lease. When my 1 year lease ended (and I had been paying my rent, even without living there anymore) they still would NOT let me out of the 1 year lease. They made excuses until the other tenants found a new roommate. After this, Highpoint told the other tenants that is was up to the tenants discretion how much of my security deposit I got back.
Of course the tenants made lies and excuses to not let me get my security deposit back (even though I left my room in great condition).
Highpoint is UNPROFESSIONAL, predatory to young renters, and just cruel.
DO NOT RENT FROM THEM. Once they get your money, they don’t care about being professional.
