Our family of 3 had a phenomenal experience at Freda's on Christmas Eve. Every single item we ordered was superb and exceeded expectations. The Prime Rib was perfectly cooked and had the precise amount of smokey flavor to enhance but not overwhelm it. The filet was one of the best my son has ever had, and he's picky. My snapper dish was perfectly prepared as well. The appetizers were both amazing. We even had the chef come out and discuss the Prime Rib's temperature to set expectations, which he then proceeded to exceed! Our server was wonderful as well. We highly recommend Freda's for special occasions.

Frieda's is amazing. The seafood and steak are always top notch. They, also, have wine dinners with perfectly crafted menus. I had the bacon wrapped scallops - delicious with a rich and flavorful mushroom sauce. My husband had the orange roughy which, again, was delicious. We split the fried pickles and spinach artichoke appetizers with friends - very good. And, also, they serve fresh cornbread which is delicious. Their drinks are well crafted.

Best meal ever!! The food the wine the service. My mom and I both had the snapper. Get it. You won’t regret it. Our server Emily was wonderful.

It's been a while since we have been to Freda's but we went for NYE dinner. WOW!!!! The place was packed and they had everything running incredibly smooth. Our server Luke was super attentive and we never had to wait for anything. NOW......let's talk about the food. it was A+++++ exceptional! They crushed it. I had one of the best dinners ever. As usual, Freda was making her rounds thanking the guests and we felt right at home. We can't wait to go back.

Went today to celebrate our 16th wedding anniversary and food was delicious, I order the Trout and hubby the paella from the gluten free menu. As a business owner we recognize that great service is what keeps repeat customers, thank you Jarrett for doing an excellent job, he was super sweet, quick, friendly, professional .
Gosh.. I miss good customer service. We sure enjoyed our dessert. ?

This review is a long time coming. Our first time visiting Austin, we had an unforgettable dining experience at this seafood restaurant! From start to finish, everything was exceptional. The crab cakes were amazing—each bite had tender pieces of crab, showcasing Fedra’s dedication to quality ingredients. Our server was great, super friendly and attentive.
We were already satisfied with the delicious meal, but the desserts were a delightful bonus. They were beautiful and indulgently rich and creamy. The crème brûlée had a perfectly caramelized top and a velvety smooth custard beneath. This restaurant is a gem!
