Travel through crewe on a semi-regular basis and overall it's a decent station.

Staff are friendly and helpful, the station is clean and spacious, and all facilities and platforms are well signposted, including a large car park, toilets, several shops and eateries, and the first class lounge.

First class lounge was very quiet on my most recent visit (8:30 on a Monday morning). It can be accessed by pressing the intercom at the entrance (end of the footbridge) and showing your ticket to the camera.

There were lots of complimentary food and drink options available, although the coffee machine wasn't working at the time of my visit. The lounge is spacious with lots of comfortable seating, workstations with usb cables and power points, and has its own toilet aswell.

Only downside is that platform alterations happen on quite a regular basis (sometimes requiring a change to the other side of the station), but these are announced in plenty of time before the train arrives.

A very nice place to go to overall and would come frequently.

Has lots of platforms and is quite old so will probably need a renovation to the roof and tiles soon.

Quite popular throughout peak times so have to get there really to get some space and seats.

Includes a free water station on one of the platforms, which is always a bonus.

Some bike areas to lock your bike, you will have to find them and hope they are not used considering they are used often, there's no directions to them and they're not at an obvious spot!

Many sets of stairs and lifts if needed. Plenty of staff around and friendly so can easily ask for assistance if needed.

There are some shops in the station so you can pick up a few things before starting your route!

This station gets a lot of bad press for things that are out of the staffs control. Platform alterations and cancellations are not the staffs fault and is usually due to something genuine not them trying to annoy you. This place is brilliant for trainspotting and the staff don’t mind. People complain that they shout and tell you to “get behind the line” but only last year someone fell into the tracks.

This little town is rich in history, very quaint and inviting. It's clean and although small has more to offer than one would expect. Everyone here seems so stress free and happy.

Weird layout with poor signage. And almost nowhere to sit. I booked a ticket with almost an hour layover here. Don't make the mistake I did, it's worth paying more for a shorter journey. The only positive is that it had some interesting architecture.

Just had the most kind and caring gesture from a guard called Nicky from Ariva trains ….. My 14 year old daughter is autistic but you wouldn’t know this to see her. Her train was changed at the last minute. She cannot cope with change or the worry of not getting a seat she would panic . Nicky took us down to carriage C and personally escorted our daughter to an available seat on an otherwise packed train to London . He would have had absolutely no idea what a meltdown he just helped her avoid . He has made what would have been a really challenging journey for her one which she will now manage so much better …. Thank you Nicky it meant so much more than you realised and I hope someone shows you this x
