I am currently staying at CareOne Wellington for rehabilitation and my overall stay has been excellent. They make you feel like a whole person and that your day is full outside of therapy sessions. My therapists and nurses went above and beyond, the meals were awesome, and they made the holidays good for me. If I needed surgery again I would only want to come to Wellington and know the admission process would be smooth. I want to thank Nadine, Kareem, Fetty, Nanette, Joanie, and the social workers for helping me through this process. James, Amy, Catherine, and Steven in the nursing department were professional and played an important role in my medical recovery.

CareOne at Wellington is by far one of the best establishment for recovery I have ever experienced. They attend to your needs and know what needs to be done to get your physical health back on track. The staff is amazing. The environment feels safe and secure above all it is clean and also the area in which the facility is in is amazingly beautiful.
The whole staff from doctors, nurses, therapist, psychiatrist, social services, assessment personnel, Admissions agent, and even the cooks and preps and security , front dest receptionist, Cleaning crew, were all so attentive and very polite.
There is a beautiful lobby with a piano (which I was allowed to play because of my musical background) and it helped my healing. A beautiful dining area as well. There is a gym with special equipment to recuperate from all types of injuries and physical conditions. Along with an indoor church to visit GOD in a time of need for courage and strength.
The food is exceptionally designed to deliver great taste and provide the actual nutrients your body needs.
I have no complaints and I have been experiencing a rapid recovery due to all the extra help from the staff in the whole establishment. They also provide entertainment and raffles and gifts and prizes to keep their patients up and happy. Music performances by local performers as well on special occasions.
I thank the whole facility at CareOne at Wellington in Hackensack
I had a very complicated open stomach surgery with a reversible colostomy bag. My body had taken a toll and I was devastated physically
emotionally and spiritually. I would have not recovered from this ordeal had it not been for the special care and expertise of such a professional personnel. I am appreciative of CareOne. The TLC needed was definitely there. TENDER LOVING CARE TYPE of Facility.

THANK YOU
GOD BLESS
I will never forget my experience and stay.
Counting my blessing
CareOne Changed my life.

Unfortunately, my grandpa had a circumcision done outpatient during his stay at care one Wellington and the wound care and nursing communication component was brutal. I called everyday and nursing had no idea how to update me on his circumcision wound because that was supposedly a job for wound care so again, the disconnect of wound care and nursing teamwork was extreme. I also asked for nursing to have wound care call me and that never happened. On top of it, they started him on antibiotics while knowing a hematoma had formed and didn’t think to include me in the update that a hematoma formed. Had I known about the hematoma I would of booked a follow up urologist appointment asap or sent him sooner to the hospital. Supposedly, they told my 91 year old grandmother about the hematoma when she was bedside visiting instead of someone telling me when I asked for an update almost everyday over the phone again to stress the poor connect of team work amongst nursing and wound care and poor communication I reiceved.
I then asked for him to be sent to the hospital upon discovering other pre surgical labs, not relative to them, and it was a surprise upon his ED visit that the ED doc mentioned his UTI was still present but his circumcision had “Dehissed”. So what wound care and attention was actually going on? Mind you they went back on my request 4x in one day to send him to the hospital as they felt they could handle his care without him going to a hospital when they couldn’t even update me on his wound care progression. I had the police on speed dial, which is extreme, but that is how much they ignored me to please have EMS take him to hackensack hospital. Of note, I did see him a few days before I sent him to the hospital and he was sitting in a dirty urinated covered bed (of course his own urine) and his diaper had urine in it to. They don’t seem to chart when they change the patient so who knows how long he sat in his own urine for even despite them knowing he just had a circumcision done which definitely isn’t healing promoting.

I have visited many skilled nursing facilities in Northern New Jersey over the years and particularly in Bergen County. I consider Care One at Wellington to be a 5 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ facility on so many levels from the moment you enter and are welcomed into the building. The overall staff is lead by an amazing Administrator, Mira. Mira also leads an incredible team of clinicians who are all dedicated and devoted to the care and well-being of their patients. If I or any of my loved ones needed the type of services Care One at Wellington offers I’d choose them. Thank you. Julie M.

My early father spent some time at the Wellington. The facility is updated and very clean. It was a very difficult time for my family and the staff was very caring. The admission staff, front desk staff were very helpful and kind. The nurses who cared for him were very attentive and called me right away with any concerns. A special shout out to Steve on his floor. Who always tried to get me information on my dad whenever I called for an update. Thanks again.

trash. my father in law went and his experience was thay the night staff were disinterested in helping him when needed which could've caused a bigger problem. they were only concerned with doing the bare minimum. none of the pictures online match the actual appearance of the facility except for the entrance. the beds are outdated. the faculty only has three showers that are shared amongst all patients therefore patients only get a shower twice a week. not the care our loved ones deserve. think twice before putting your loved on here.

My grandmother stayed here for about two weeks. The front desk is very kind and helpful. However most of the CNA’s were always on their phones and took a very long time to come if a resident/patient called for them when I was there. The CNA’s did not know my grandmothers health information and were not able to answer questions regarding her health, care, or her abilities. The actual nurses seemed overworked and possibly this place is understaffed. The social worker appointed to us was able to get everything done and helped us a lot but again she was kind of dismissive and rude.

Overall this place is average but I think all facilities like this are the same.

My mother went to Care One Wellington last June for rehab and became a resident in August. We were very nervous and wondered if she would be comfortable and if we were making the right decision. Watching her form friendships almost immediately put our minds at ease. She looked forward to dining with her friends in the dining room each day. She participated in every activity that was offered. The activities that Care One provides are just wonderful. From games and craft work to entertainment and monthly birthday parties, I have watched my mother's personality change from being lonely to having quite a busy social life at Care One. She is much more outgoing, sociable and smiles a lot more. She is very happy with all of the nursing staff and the health aides that she has had. My sister and I had been visiting every day and we found the staff to be very helpful. They would always take the time to address your questions or concerns with patience and kindness. Relatives who came to visit my mother immediately were impressed by the facility and its staff. When COVID hit and visitation was no longer allowed, the staff kept us informed on a daily basis regarding how many residents were infected and being treated, etc. I would highly recommend Care One at Wellington for your loved one's rehab and/or long term care needs. My mother, now 95, is still thriving thanks to everyone at Care One. We now know for sure that we made the right decision with Care One at Wellington.
